Dr. Rahul Seth is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in facial aesthetics and rejuvenation of the aging face, rhinoplasty and nasal airway surgery, treatment of facial paralysis and reconstruction for facial skin malignancies. His expertise includes free tissue transfer, a technique for replacing removed body tissue with tissue from elsewhere on the patient's body.

Seth's research interests include outcomes for patients treated with advanced techniques in head and neck reconstruction.

Seth earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester. He completed a five-year surgical residency in otolaryngology (disorders of the nose, throat and other structures of the head and neck) at the Cleveland Clinic. He completed further subspecialty training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Seth has a background in engineering, and he has designed and patented new technologies used to diagnose and treat head and neck diseases. His research has won several national awards as well as laboratory grant funding, and he has published numerous medical articles in his field.

    Appointment was for post-surgery removal of stitches. The course of treatment at this point is to allow the nose to heal naturally.

    The one thing I would say could have improved was that this was the first time I got botox in my forehead vs. Where I'd received it before between my eyes. I didn't realize that it would slightly alter the look of my eyebrows make them straighter than normal. So that would have been a good heads up to give. He did exactly what I asked for but in retrospect had I realized the impact (minor but not ideal) I might have opted for something different perhaps just doing the botox higher in the forehead only or the like.

    We've had some strong struggles sometimes with spoken communication & delays in scheduling about one third to one half of the time we've been in contact since late 2018 through 2021 but all experiences since January this year have been top notch!

    It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Seth. He had my medical information required to fully cover my questions and concerns.     Dr. Seth Scarlet procedure Was absolutely incredible and I can already see results in my face. I've already talk to people about it on social media and I've recommended him to several of my friends who are also transgender and looking for the same facial surgery. I think that he's one of the best in the business and cares about his patients more than 99.999% of doctors. The empathy with which he treated me and the respect that he showed with something that is nearly unparalleled in the medical field. I think that Dr. Seth is genius in the techniques that he has developed And I'm sure that in years to come he will be celebrated by my community as a pioneer of trans medicine
