Dr. Sung Choi is a general and interventional cardiologist at the Cardiovascular Care and Prevention Center – Golden Gate Practice. He focuses on developing personal relationships with his patients to help them reduce their risk of future heart problems. He is particularly interested in the connection between exercise and cardiovascular health.

Choi earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia. He completed his residency as well as fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Choi is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

    Dr. Choi was simply outstanding! A very caring physician who went above and beyond for me. He also provided an excellent explanation of my condition. He was able to fully extract and summarize the relevant points even though I know I was talking too fast and confusingly.

    I expect I will be further educated by him when we get the test results back. I also feel less anxious about the appts for tests being made with his officce because of the follow through so far.
